Rives on Def Poetry Jam - "Kite"

This is Rives, performing a touching slam poem on waking up in a lover's home and his morning routine.

While looking for a poem by Shihan, I stumbled upon a poem by Rives, the same guy who did a great slam poem on sign language and deaf kids in high school. He's got other great stuff, but I decided to sift this one first. There's a few skips in the audio, but not so bad as to mask Rives's great sense of humor and terrific flow.

I still love this, but I'll be back.
