Got to be clear about this, Mr. Senator. It's not the fact that the you're gay that makes you a miserable failure as a human being. No, I mean get down with your bad gay self, sir. It's the poisonous anti-gay propaganda, the family values bullshit, the lies, and above all the hypocrisy that condemns you.

It's not too late though, you can find redemption if you do the following things: 1) Come out of the closet, admit your homosexuality. 2) Tell the truth about how you've hidden in the closet your whole life, how you've tried to over-compensate for being gay by supporting "family values" and campaigning against gay rights. 3) Apologize to your constituents for living a lie 4) Apologize to your wife, beg her forgiveness and understanding- tell her you will always love her, and then find a way to exit the marriage gracefully. Your kids will be fine- they're all grown up now and they'll either support you or they won't. I suspect they will. 5) Finally, be true to yourself. Find love, joy and happiness by living the way you were made.

If, and only if, you can do all of the things I've listed above then you will have earned redemption, and the right to continue to serve the people of California. Don't worry- most people will forgive you and you may even be re-elected, though not as a Republican obviously. Continue in your evil ways and you'll continue to be miserable and worthless.

When will we come to the understanding that the more you oppose homosexual equality, the more likely you are in fact a closeted gay? Well adjusted straight people just don't care enough about what gays are or do.
