shuacsays...You can't blame Fox exclusively. There should have been a massive information campaign by the Obama Administration and it should have happened months ago.
NetRunnersays...*lies
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Lies) - requested by NetRunner.
MilkmanDansays...I can't help but think (hope?) that some of those poll responses are just people being facetious. For example, if you ran a poll that asked "Do you believe that former president George W Bush was a cyborg designed by an evil shape-shifting alien Dick Cheney?", you would probably get a fair number of people who would say "Yes, I'm 100% sure of that". And most of those people would be registered democrats. And a majority of those probably watch MSNBC for their news. FoxNews response: "MSNBC promotes anti-American conspiracy theories!!!"
Whatever portion of the poll numbers that represents real misinformed people is discouraging, but I feel like this is probably overstated.
entr0pysays...Wow, so 40% of MSNBC/CNN viewers think that the reform bill will socialize health care in order to give away free abortions to illegal aliens? I suppose MSNBC still didn't fail quite as heroically as Fox News, but they still failed pretty hard.
kymbossays...I think this story misses the point. Look at the number of non-Fox watches who believe what she describes as 'myths' - around 40%. If these are patently untrue, when combined with Fox viewers almost half of the country is completely uninformed.
How can you have a debate at all when ignorance is this pronounced?

One in five Americans believes in Geocentrism (that the Sun revolves around the Earth)...
kymbossays...Touche!
Tymbrwulfsays...I get my news from BBC/Reuters/Al Jazeera/Euronews. If you only watch one news outlet, you will ALWAYS be mis-/un-informed.
frijolessays...I get my news from Videosift.
Xaxsays...Republicans are too dumb and/or insane to understand reality. Shocking. Perhaps they should be put in special homes, or at the very least, heavily medicated. To be fair, so should many non-Republicans.
xxovercastxxsays...I get my news from Blankfist's Blog.
acidSpinesays...What does it matter what agerage Americans think, they have next to no say in what happens. Anyone who buys into this Republican V Democrat bullshit is retarded. America's governmemt is bought and paid for
messengersays...I like her points, but I don't like her tone. It's almost as bad as Olbermann. She sounds like a teenager complaining about her stupid teacher.
