Qatar's World Cup

A look at the controversial Qatar World Cup, their use of slave labor to build the facilities and more.

I'd expect that after the Brazil World Cup, FIFA will have to revoke the Qatar bid, if not for the controversy surrounding the possible bribes and the heat, for human right reasons (Brazil moving the poor out of the way was bad enough, using essentially slave labor gets worse).

Shame on FIFA if they don't revoke it or demand changes be made. *promote ... not that FIFA likely watches the Sift, but the more we talk about it and spread the message on our social media, the more they'll have to eventually discuss it officially.

You and every other decent human being with any sort of conscience what so ever. Sadly we're talking about FIFA, and they aren't members of that particular club. They're already spinning the current games as a huge success and it probably will be if your primary criteria for measuring that is profit for FIFA.

Nothing will happen unless the players and teams protest.
It's Big Business taking bribes from the wealthiest people in the world.
They don't care what we think. unless profits dive.
