QI: Scallywags - British Terrorist Suicide Squads In WW2

The British had their own terrorist cells in World War 2 as a last line of defence incase of a German invasion. "Scallywags", they were called.

Sounds rather like Gladio if anyone still remembers the NATO version of terrorism. Oh, the irony ... you can almost taste it.
