dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
This officer is probably now driving a desk.
McNair had escaped from a federal penitentiary at nearby Pollock, La. He was serving a life sentence for killing a trucker at a grain elevator in Minot, N.D., in 1987. The police officer ends his questiong with "Be careful, buddy." McNair is still at large.

my trust in the law system is slightly shaken

prodigysays...i feel sorry for the officer.
deathcowsays...My name?> It's jim, eh robert, jones uh, ping! my name is ping.
speedsays...The cop was dumber than a post, simple as that.
Cops on "Reno 911" are smarter, which is ridiculously sad.
And for those of you here that have said the prison escapee was 'a good BS'er'? You are all complete FUCKING morons, and are even dumber than that retarded cop. He wasn't a good BS'er at all, any intelligent being such as myself could see a mile away that he was full of shit, and was highly suspicious right off the bat.
I don't feel sorry for the 'officer' (term used loosely), in fact, his dumb ass got fired immediately the following week.
Leekolassays...Interesting bit of social engineering, not the best but it was pretty good for an improv. The guy kept his cool and stuck to his story for the most part.
I'm not sure if the officer could have done anything if he didn't catch the name change.
defsays...remember the heat... both had their perception weakened.
ACEsays...That cop was a dum dum =)
cindy5615says...Ehhhh....who doesn't have an address, know where their at or how they are going to get back? And who jogs when it's a 113 degrees? Why can't I run across these cops when I am speeding?
MarineGunrocksays...Jogging in 113 degree heat isn't that far-fetched, provided that it's normal weather for the area.
I live in Arizona and it's usually about 105 during the day, and I see people running and biking all day.
