I think that's called Web Suicide. Sometimes occurs when someone has a lot to deal with in real life with and the internet persona gets the boot.

That's sad. Although we could always reanimate him from the backup ... (no we wouldn't do that)

Snake kind of did something similar before he left. I have to admit I don't understand the motive, and it does a bit of damage to the site - as now there are gaping holes in threads, that don't make sense anymore. Kind of like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind somehow.

I guess though, we have to respect people's comments as their own, to do with what they would.

Edit: I've sent Fletch an email. I don't want him to follow The Way of the Snake.

I've been wondering what happened to Snake. I tried to send him an email a few weeks ago through a website link on his profile. Nothing... :-(
