If that doesn't take away your faith in statements candidates make, I don't know what will.

lol if you have faith in annything your a idoit.

It seemed pritty aparent to me that obma was concervative on the grand scheem of things and not a guy to realy be belived.

But still obama is and was probably the best vote to be had out of likely candidates. just shows you how flawed elections can be as a way of picking a leader and how there is an illusion of choice , hardly a choice if all you have to pick from are bad apples and u just went for the least moldy.

He said he's a proponent of a single payer health care system.... I'm sure he still is a proponent of a single payer health care system... it's a matter of getting enough people in congress to agree on something and we got that relatively crappy compromise... but we did move the bar forward. That's the first time we've gotten progress on the issue after decades of trying.
