Have you seen most people! I wouldn't trust them with a screw driver nonetheless a complex set of moral-religions-political ideals that govern all of us! Imagine a military were everyone is an officer, that's going to work great! Not that I have a better idea mind you, but I sure can poop on the floor.

Obviously that's not helping, but it seems a bit convenient to me that the media outlets the elites own spew rhetoric that then become the justification for the elites closing off avenues by which the public can hold them accountable.
Maybe we should take away Congress's ability to consume mass media instead. Cable news apparently makes them into crazy people.
