choggiesays.......looks like a blast!
legacy0100says...oh man that looks fun!
oohahhsays...Here I sat, expecting women to be filling that pool by the end... which didn't happen. Weird!
joedirtsays...you can do this at home.. well on a smaller scale. It's really cool to see it act like clay when you hit it hard, but is a liquid.
Ivegotthebendssays...That's how Jesus did it.
Nebosukesays...This was previously done on Brainiac - Science Abuse (a show in the UK). They had a much thicker concoction that the person could walk slower, but once they were sucked down, they needed help to get out.
deathcowsays...thats cool, pt 2 has a bunch of bikini girls in it, I cant find it right now but naturally they all end up losing their bikinis and playing in the pool for about 15 minutes
joedirtsays...This is also related to non-newtonian fluids shown in this cool video http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=2342
in this case they applied sonic waves to same cornstarch type fluid to make standing waves, fingers, etc.
choggiesays.......oh, an' its how jesus did it!
deathcowsays...I see 11 disciples with 80 pound sacks of corn starch on their backs. John's hooking up a OPA90 spec cornstarch containment boom, and Jesus is using miracle 120V power to run his DeWalt 1/2" drill with a mixing paddle.
TimothyChenAllensays...I knew it-- this is from Spain. I realize most of you probably don't care, but I lived in Barcelona for five years and brought home my Spanish wife and kid. Anyway, "El Hormiguero" means the ant hill. More of the program here: http://www.cuatro.com/microsites/el_hormiguero/incunables.html
DarkSaviorsays...Pretty damn cool if i do say so myself. I must so that it is one of the better things on here.
gorgonheapsays..."That's how Jesus did it. "
Yeah he must have gotten thousands upon thousands of pounds of cornstarch and dumped it into the sea. It all makes sense.
