Peace on Earth

Despite the dated disney-esque beginning, I think this is a great cartoon. A lot of other people thought so too, back in 1939, when Hugh Harman was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for this cartoon.

"They was the orneriest, cussinest, dag nabbed tribe a' varmits, I every did see!"

the vegetarians would have had their asses handed to them by the meat-eaters though....in real life...

Kind of a sucky cartoon, huh?

Um...

Not to stir up too much controversy. How does a brand NEW account, (a) get invited into a Collective, (b) then vote for their own video (I guess voting on other "P" videos is banned, but you can vote on your own?)

I'm not too cool with this, or maybe this is a way to recruit new members, by drawing people in by talking about your collective on another site.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

I think P members can vote on their own videos, and there is certainly no restriction on new members joining a collective.

I'm not sure I see what's wrong with this situation JD ...

The old ornery cuss sifters fought with the new dagnabbed varmint sifters until there was only two of 'em left and then they killed each other because they all thought they were somehow superior.

Good stuff. Except for the whole "Good book of rules" spiel, and heavy Christian overtones, but expected for the time. Of course, all hell is going to break loose in Peaceville when the foxes show up.
