choggiesays...Simply looooove how this cunt uses all the same buzzwords for her camp similar to the ones the other camp uses to make fun of her wiiiiith...So cuuuuute that both sides have the courtesy for a reach-around for each other to make each other feel good about paying attention to the same tired buuuuulshit..How fucking convenient the server space wasted on embeds of heroin, delivered to your door, with or without a pizza....Fuuuuuuuck!
Sarah Palin is as transparent as, (insert your alternative to leadership here) a broken fucking record.
dethetersays...i love the telephone bit - Scottish born inventor thinks up brilliant design in Canada and then takes it to America to physically assemble it. hmmm....
acidSpinesays...What on Earth makes Palin think America can supply it's own energy demands, even if they rape Alaska inside-out. The only solution put on the table was vote Republican.
I think everyone in the world should get a say in who the American President is. Call me crazy but if it were so do you think Bush would have been elected even once?
schmawysays...Yeah, similar story with "airplane".
Vacuous puppet.>> ^detheter:

Myslingsays...I love how she bashes the entire scientific community one minute, and does a 360 for the last minute and praises science as the holy grail of this fantastic new energy alternative which has yet to be invented.
Bravo..
Trancecoachsays...if this woman isn't *terrible, then the implications of her longevity on the public stage certainly is.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Terrible) - requested by Trancecoach.
Sketchsays...Why are people still listening to this woman!? *weep* *sob* *weep*
spawnflaggersays...I think the FCC should be able to fine people for making blatant scientifically-inaccurate statements on any publicly televised broadcast. Her words OFFEND me more than Janet Jackson's boob ever could.
$50k here, $100k there - might make Sarah Palin think twice about her choice of words. (she might even switch to a teleprompter... OH NOES!)
BicycleRepairMansays...*fuckingretardgate
Shepppardsays...Can't do it. I just can't do it anymore.
I've had my fill of this woman twice-over. My tolerance is shot. I can't watch her anymore. To honestly think people look up to this woman and think she would've made a fine authority figure.. It's insane.
Snake oil was never "Science", snake oil salesmen were unscrupulous unintelligent morally deprived people who relied on their high amount of charisma to charm people into believing them and buying what they're putting out.
The most comparable thing to this isn't science, it's Sarah fucking Palin.
Unsung_Herosays...>> ^Trancecoach:

I'm going to throw out a small point which I will probably be bashed for later, but here goes...
Now I don't believe in or agree with anything Palin has to say but isn't putting a tag of "Terrible" extremely bias especially since it is invoked by only one person? I'm not arguing that she is not terrible I am simply remarking on the damage this does to videosift's integrity. I've seen many posts on the sift calling Fox News bias for telling their viewers how to think by preceding the video with bias remarks... isn't putting tags on videos such as this telling people how to feel before watching the clip the same exact thing?

You guy's refuse to build nuke power plants and let environmentalist nuts dictate energy policy. Point is valid. The US energy policy on anti-nuclear set back actual development in other high-form reactors by about 60 years.

You mean like Gore? Or other environmentalists? The ol'BS meter is generally pegged on anything relating to climate "science", simply because of the amount of scientists who use it to get their funding for the year. Another 10 years and sanity will return, providing that idiots who follow it, don't drive us into global bankruptcy first.
burdturglersays...@Unsung_Hero
Terrible is a tag that gets misused all the time, like viral.
People too often use it to as a description of their opinion of the video (I'm sure I've done it myself), but the definition of the channel is pretty clear:
"Videos of terrible, awful What-Were-They-Thinking commercial/pop-culture products/releases. Terrible music videos, movies, TV show clips, toys, etc. Things that some corporate exec decided to actually give a green light. The sorts of things that you watch, and think "SOMEBODY should have known better that to release that". The stuff that's so bad, you can't help but share."
*nochannel
*Science
*Wtf
*Worldaffairs
*Politics
*Eco
siftbotsays...This video has been removed from all channels (Science, Wtf, Terrible, Worldaffairs, Politics, Eco) due to invalid channel assignment - nochannel invoked by burdturgler. Please review the FAQ to learn about appropriate channel assignments.
Adding video to channels (Eco, Politics, Science, Worldaffairs, Wtf) - requested by burdturgler.

The US is the worlds largest producer of nuclear power, accounting for more than 30% of the worldwide use of nuclear energy.
As far as climate science goes, it's impossible to have a conversation with someone who dismisses every bit of scientific evidence because scientists got paid to do their work.
rougysays...Screw nuclear power.
That's a big corporate boondoggle if there ever was.
Solar, wind, geothermal.
That's the stuff we need.
pmkierstsays...I love how she attributes the internet to free markets and america. The part most people think of as "the Internet", the WWW, came from government funded science in Europe (CERN). Neither free market nor American innovation. In her defence, Of course the underlying technology, IP, was developed in America. But still not through free markets, it was done by government funded research.
mxxconsays...perfect example of the lowest common denominator
Farhad2000says...Americans will invent it?
Hahahahah!
quantumushroomsays...The very fact the socialist weenies use 'climate change' instead of the previously-hollered "global warming" is more evidence the whole thing's a hoax. Oh, that and the falsified data. And Snowmageddon. http://www.globalwarminghoax.com/news.php
buzzsays...How are the US gonna create the next energy boom?
Simple. If I think it, so it must be...
CheshireSmilesays...an inconvenient truth was not fact checked.
eoesays...@quantumushroom
I know this is your modus operandi, but for the love of fuck, shut up. Did you not also hear how NY just had a record high temperature as well?!?! I GUESS THAT PROVES GLOBAL WARMING!
ONE PIECE OF DATA DOES NOT PROVE ANYTHING. TRENDS HAPPEN OVER LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
Not to mention that the global climate is oscillating back and forth in a pretty chaotic way. Wouldn't you say it odd that 'Snowmageddon' and a record high happening within a few months of one another is, hmm, bizarre?
Christ. Your ignorance is irritating.
residuesays...I get irritated when people say "oh there were ice ages and warming periods naturally in the past, so any fluctuations we see are natural!" as if all the horseshit we dump into the atmosphere is as natural as can be and there is NO WAY that could POSSIBLY be doing anything out of the ordinary.
pmkierstsays...>> ^quantumushroom:
And Snowmageddon.
I suspect you are confused as to the factors involved in extreme snow fall.
Drachen_Jagersays...What I like is how she can literally contradict herself in the same sentence and STILL people support her point of view.
Snake oil is the opposite of science people. SHE is the one selling anti-climate change snake oil. Are you just too dumb to realize that? Or do you think a global conspiracy of climate scientists with perfect secrecy and coordination is just pulling the wool over your eyes so they can continue to get funding (which all goes into further research by the way, not their own pockets).
And before you bring those debunked e-mails into it better go check your sources (and no, Glenn Beck is not a legitimate source).
cowboydansays...wow. my mouth is all up on on the floor after that.
Wingoguysays...>> ^Farhad2000:
Americans will invent it?
Hahahahah!
Why is that funny?
Some good ones, in chronological order:
Suspension Bridge,Refrigeration,Morse code
Steam Shovel, Vulcanized Rubber, Motorcycle,
Phonograph, Cash Register, Solar Cell,
Photographic Film, Skyscrapers, Radio,
Zipper, Tractor, FINALLY coming to the 20th century...
Air conditioning, Airplane, AC plugs and sockets,
Supermarket, Liquid Fuel Rocket, Frozen Food,
Particle Accelerators, FM, Digital Computer
, Microwave Oven, Transistor,
Mobile Phone, Supersonic Aircraft, Video Games,
Cable TV, CPR, HDD,
Industrial Robots, Videotape, LASER,
Carbon Fiber, Weather Satellites, GPS,
Heart Transplant, Cordless Phones, CDs,
Airbags, Lunar Module, WAN, PCs,
Microprocessors, Floppy Disks, Email,
Digital Cameras, Ethernet, MRI,
BBS, Internet (not WWW), Space Telescope,
DVRs, Composite Aircraft...whew that was fun. Thanks for egging me on, troll, and if you use any of the above, thank an American!
pmkierstsays...Although the first liquid fuelled rocket was launched by an american, it was invented by a Russian.
I'm not sure about "inventing" heart transplants, but the first one was performed by a South African in South Africa.
The CD is harder to tell, because it was based on prior technology, but it would be likely attributed to Philips (Netherlands) or Sony (Japan)
Those are just a few I decided to fact check.
America has produced lots of innovations, but it would be nice if people could do at least a cursory investigation before attributing everything to it.
Wingoguysays...I did. Take it up with Wikipedia.
