That's a pretty nifty trick, or at least it would be if I was able to actually stare at the X without my eyes wandering to... other things.

I love this trick, the last time I saw it, it was a picture of a castle, so this one is.. ahem... more pleasing to the eye.

Protip: You can stare at any point you like, so long as you stay focused on that one point.

If you can manage to stare in one spot even longer, it does eventually turn back to B/W on its own. A slow fade as the colour burn on your retinas fades.

The second image appears to be in color, but once focus is lost, the hot chick is replaced by white text on a black background.

Maybe it could have worked if the color image was there for more than two seconds.
