A pretty cool animation of how soap molecules, having a hydrophobic (liking to stick to the fats in a virus or germs protein coat) and a hydrophilic section (easy to dissolve in water)---pull apart the fat (lipid) layer that surrounds COVID's mRNA layers---and eventually, the virus "sack" blows apart and the strands of mRNA harmless splatter into the soapy water surrounding your hands---
The COVID mRNA is there; but without all of the cellular machinery near it, contained in the viral "sack", and with the spike proteins swishing all over the place and not locked into a receptor on a human cell (intact human skin just doesn't have many places for the spike proteins to get a hold)---
it's just harmless amino acids.
Although, interestingly, a PCR test would be "positive" for Corona--but it would be meaningless because it would merely be telling you random strands of impotent mRNA were swirling around.
