I bet he is conciderd libral and thus bad evan though the word libral has nothing to do with good ore bad. and i would argue that libral just means sumone who dosent dismiss things bassed on gut reaction but dismisses things based on factual evidence. by that definition i belive every polition right wing ore left, concervative or labor (or lib dem), has to be liberal ore thay are not doing there job as a polition.

Usually, the correct Republican-Conservative reply is to brand him as a media tool or some kind of "liberal".

Since I moved to Europe, I noticed more and more how too many associate critisizm as "disloyalty" or being a complainer.

Not that it has much to do with this, but this got me feeling how one day i'd really like to see Rumsfeld's version of 'the fog of war'. Because McNamara really let it all out and spoke some harsh truths.

Interesting idear drpepper. McNamara was accused of many things in his time, but the biggest difference between him and Rummie is that I don't think anyone ever accused him of either being dishonest or stupid, which are two of this current Secretary's biggest faults.

Well said and with passion. Didn't know Rumsfeld permitted freedom of expression over there. I have no idea what the format of this show is but would there an alternative viewpoint be presented or is this special kind of editorial?
