Obama WAS a citizen of Kenya until his 21st birthday--he had DUAL citizenship between the US and Kenya--and not by choice. That part is irrelevant. If he is not a natural-born citizen, then he doesn't meet the legal requirements.

Will this change anything? No more than Obama's spending spree will change anything (except for causing hyperinflation).

Hey, I'm no dummy, even if it was proven Barry was technically unqualified to be President, it's not like Democrats are going to follow the rule of law. Even I don't want Biden, the Shemp of Congress, to be President.

I will hand it to QM. At least he tries to put up valid argument points with debate and issues, instead of the neanderthal grunts we get out of BillO. But what gets me is QM fails to see that Barack Obama is successfully doing what Republicans and Conservatives are always screaming about. He's limiting the amount of power our government has over its own people. It's a radical move, yes; and that's scary to some.

Obama's birth certificate was released in June 2008, this certificate has been cleared as legitimate by the Hawaii Department of Health.

The document was not released by Hawaii because under its own statutes the Birth Certificate is restricted to the public against identity theft.

However the Obama campaign choose to release it in June 2008 to fight the rumors and smear allegations, which are outlined here.

The only legal requirements under the US Constitution for US president are United States citizenship and being at least 35 years old.

Bringing us back on topic: Obama's change to FOIA would actually make it a lot easier to file a Freedom of Information request for his birth certificate, and the records of what's been done to authenticate his birth.

Under Bush, they'd probably tell you that it'd be a national security risk to answer any questions about his citizenship.
