jjw001says...honestly i wouldn't of expected this ad to be shot with a lumia 920 since they've only just announced it. i can believe it's a fuck up on their part but wouldn't say it was intentional. having said that everyone will be looking to see if an actual Lumia 920 can make a video this good when they come out. maybe that's the whole point. seems like a pretty big fuck up if they were trying to hide it.
lucky760says...On the swings you can see the large shoulder-mounted camera's shadow as well. Very poor hoaxmanship.
kevingrrsays...Really? It is meant to represent what the OIS does.
Do the hamburgers you get at <Insert Awful Food Here> look like what they did on your TV?
I mean I expect sony/apple/samsung etc to all do the same thing.
The idea is to illustrate the concept.
Phones don't shoot footage usable in ANY real commercial setting.
antsays...Marketing stuff always look good.
DonanFearsays...The real thing is apparently pretty impressive (according to people that tried it a the press event). Too bad the only thing most people will remember is how they cheated in the commercial.
Trancecoachsays...Nokia is either on the verge of a Big Winner or is going the way of the dodo.

And no one really expects them to. So why bother lying in such a clumsy and obvious fashion?
Shoot the ad in IMAX for all I care, just don't claim it was shot on the phone.
kevingrrsays...@ChaosEngine
Where was that claim made?
Anyone who knows anything about film production didn't need to see a reflection in a window. My friend produces for AMC/History/Discovery.
I showed him this and he was like...duh...
ChaosEnginesays...@kevingrr, I thought the claim was the whole point of this video?
The other thing is that apparently the quality of the phone camera is actually really good anyway.
