Personally he had me at using it to fish a wire.... I have to fish a wire through a hole behind my fridge right now and the magnet will work excellently to pull a string through.

I've got one of those Magnetic tool holders in my kitchen for all the big sharp knives.

Magnets are also great for erasing all your cassette tapes!

If you leave the house and forget to bring those notes that are on the fridge back home, just swallow a handful of very strong rare earth magnets and stick the notes to your abdomen with other magnets! Haha, you'll never forget those "must remember notes" again.
