The scenario is somewhat amusing, but the writing and canned laughter is freaking terrible. And don't give me that live studio audience BS.

Five or ten years ago, it seemed like we were moving away from that direction. Sitcoms like Malcom in the Middle and Arrested Development didn't have laugh tracks, and they were much better for it (they also weren't produced like videotaped stage plays, which helped). But no, back to the bottom of the barrel for us.
