YouTube description: Every Comic-Con ends with one of the event's most popular panels, the Starship Smackdown, in which 12 spacecraft battle it out for sole supremacy (based not on armament or shielding, but, usually, whose captain is best with the ladies). This year, it came down to--astonishingly and agonizingly--the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (1960's television series) vs. the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A refit (original motion pictures). Enjoying his first Comic-Con appearance, astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson stood to offer his comic perspective on which of the two very worthy vessels should win the day. The hall, and ultimately the panel of judges, agreed.
