I would love to hear them give a proper answer.

My answer is this: Everything dies. Though we try to extend life, there is inevitably an end. I am not special in this. We are made of atoms forged in stars, and those atoms will be returned to stars again someday... they were never intended to be ours to keep. Perhaps something will happen after physical death, perhaps not. We will all find out the same way. See you on the other side, or not.
