why?
The term basically means person from the persia/india regions.
in sanscrit and persian, it has additional meaning of "noble/spiritual one" attached to it. However, this is much like Rome calling every other non-roman civilization "barbarians".

Sometimes back in my high school an Indian friend of mine kept trying to convince me that the Nazis were somehow on his side due to blood bond. Needless to say I thought it was a ridiculous idea, but then he was a sports jock.

Although I do find this video fascinating from a historical point of view, it should be noted that the intent of the person who submitted this on youtube was to glorify the Nazi's. In one of his other videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7bu_kKwHHQ) he made some pretty disturbing in the youtube comments section.
