I've had this on the hard disk for a few years, perrenial favorite with the grubs.

So there was an episode of the The Office that opened with the folks singing this. I tried to explain it to my kids, but they had no idea what I was referring to. Now they do! BTW- my childhood was basically the week delay between The Muppet Shows. Since this was pre VHS I used to tape record the audio by holding my little microphone to the t.v. speaker.

Yes natts! This made me think of that Office scene too ... we've been on a bit of an Office thing here. If anyone can find that scene, it would be a great one to put up.

I really enjoy a band named Menomena. I wonder if this is where they got their name from?
I really need to watch more of the Muppet Show now that it's out on DVD. I haven't watched it since I was maybe six or seven? I personally grew up watching the Muppet Babies and Fraggle Rock, although I still love the various Muppet movies that were made.
The creativity possessed by the group of people who made the Muppets impresses me. They make me feel happy and hopeful of the world.

For Grins & Giggles, Next time you listen to this, close your eyes and imagine the Muppet with the Gold Tooth. His name is Dr. Teeth You'll notice its the same voice used for him as was this charactor who does Mahnamanah. I believe Jim Henson is the original voice for both charactors. :-)

(PS - his band is called the Electric Mayhem band with Animal as the Drummer.)
