In my eyes one of their defining sketches from the first season of Monty Python's Flying Circus. Among the things featured are blancmanges, crazy Scots and plenty of kilts.

I found it was peculiar that the detective was reading a book titled "The Fall of the Roman Empire" by Google Withers. This was in filmed in 1969?
