Paybacksays...Back in 1982, it took literally 1000s of hours to completely render an hour of movie-quality graphics.
Back in 1982, cell phones had a whole hour of talk time, weighed 5 lbs, were a foot long, and you could store up to 30 ENTIRE PHONE NUMBERS in memory.
Today you could shoot the live action scenes, compute the graphics in real time, edit, create and dub a soundtrack and distribute this movie from your cell phone.
antonyesays...This would have just made you even more disappointed with the actual movie.
