Ok, that was awesome. A while ago someone posted vids of acapella versions of Jump by Van Halen and Battery by Metallica. Both of them were awful, but this... this just ruled

He's not simulating the distortion, he's using a distortion pedal. You see it more clearly in his live show, but even in this video you can see him turn it on. Still pretty amazing though.
