McCain Losing Track Of His Own Campaign?

Courtesy of Talking Points Memo, an exchange on Hardball where pundits agree that McCain is being "too handled" by his advisors and that there's "no way he could be tracking all of this himself" in reference to his campaign.

Hardly information from the horse's mouth, so to speak, but not exactly reassuring either.
