I assume they did that to avoid the jackass cameraman standing in the lane filming them as they pass.

A decade ago you couldn't imagine a news reporter talking about a video game without making you wince because they're misusing the terminology or misunderstanding the game. But in this case it wasn't an issue at all. I'm glad to see gaming becoming more mainstream.
