Mariana Trench - Life Challenges at the Deepest Sea Floor

The Mariana Trench in the western Pacific Ocean is the deepest oceanic trench on the Earth. This NHK documentary is all about the facts and under water life in the deepest sea floor at about 8KM to 10KM below the water level. A hair-raising film on the descent into the Mariana Trench where water exerts a pressure of 1,086 bars (15,750 psi) and the temperature is between 1 to 4 °C (34 to 39 °F).
