Magnetic fluid screw

That certainly looks cool. I read the words at the front, but I still don't understand what I've just seen. OK, the fluid is magnetic, and there's a screw somewhere, but how the heck did it make that happen?

Those spikes near the end just before they turned off the electro-magnet that were right up the top were very interesting. Wish I knew a bit more about physics. Great vid, thanks
