I know I've seen this on the Sift in the past year or so. It's probably part of a collection video so I guess it wouldn't be a dupe, or if it is, I'm way too lazy to look for it and you seem to be getting more mileage out of it anyway...

That's a stout pole. A lot of them are designed to break away.
