uhohzombiessays...oh my god, i would not be able to live there. not just the noise, but imagine a sudden unexpected crosswind or some kind of unstable emergency landing and *BLAMMO* right into a building. eesh.
antsays...I wonder how much it costs to live there?
Is it 1998 or 1988?
dooglesays...1998 - good catch Ant, thanks.
Cost to live there? Very expensive. Almost on par with living 30 minutes from downtown New York. Kai Tak airport is 30 minutes from downtown. Now HK's new airport is about an hour away - they created an island for it.
Guardian-Xsays...If you've ever flown into Lindbergh Field in San Diego, you'll notice that you can wave to office workers. It's also quite a sight when you're on the freeway with a 737 60 feet overhead.
supersaiyan93says...Guardian-X, Louis Armstrong International in New Orleans is kinda like that. The planes fly VERY low over a stretch of I-10.
oh, and btw, nice avatar.
