Video Flagged Dead

Live Eurasian Oystercatcher hatching cam [Streaming Video]

fascinating to watch, they sit there, keep the eggs warm, eat an innocent bug that walks by. Highlight of the day is what I call changing of the guards, when the male and female switch places.

The way it tucked the eggs just now was super-adorable! *cute

Edit: Also, it really seems they're occasionally checking on the camera, too
Edit2 [23:00]: Holy crap, there's dew on their feathers!!!

It's Windows Media Player and we Mac/Linux users can't view this. From the FAQ:

Why can't I submit QuickTime, Real, or Windows Media videos?

We are only accepting Flash-based videos because they are compatible with essentially every type of computer (Mac, Linux, etc.) and web browser.

If you can find a non-MS embed, please swap it out- otherwise I'm afraid the cute fluffy chicks will need to be terminated.

thats pretty neat-O, I left this open as I forgot about it, Went to make pizza dough and the fixings to go on it. come back here half hours later and darkness as enveloped the city. I think thats peachy keen how the birds just sit there doing fuck all.

Pretty cool.

I wonder if I can find the cam of an African watering hole. That one was fun to watch, and listen to. The sounds of the animals and birds were quite exotic to my ears.

6 am, a cup of coffee, charlie parker and jj cale on the headphones, and watching this webcam for fifteen minutes (they just switched places, woohoo!). my day already started good.

thanks for posting (even though it probably won't be allowed to stay)

If this video can't stay, then why do we allow * blocked videos? Also isn't there some kind of workaround for Mac and Linux that can play this?

lavollsays...

for those who cant view. here's a live update.
one of the birds have a feather stuck on its beak. he (or she) is poking around a little for a bug or two to eat. now he is taking a nap.

nerbulasays...

thats a good point about the region blocked videos being allowed but this sort of thing woulnt be unless its a flash link. Those region blocked ones piss me the fuck off when I try and go to watch them and I get that bullshit. Others should get fucked if I can, thats how the world works.

IT'S GONE!!! OH NOOO! WHAT HAPPENED?
ALL I SEE IS BUT A LONE FEATHER RUSTLING FAINTLY IN THE WIND... AMID A LANDSCAPE THAT NOW LOOKS SO HARSH AND FOREIGN.

will the colourfully-beaked bird ever return? did it die? how long will the camera stay?

so many questions.. :{
