Remember the poster from the mid-90's of that massive wave hitting the lighthouse? See the film here.
From the Youtube post: "Tempête sur la pointe de Bretagne - des très belles images signées Jean René Keruzoé". -"A storm seen from a a point in Brittany - these beautiful images are the work of Jean René Keruzoé".

The title is like saying military porn... this is a fantastic video. I dare anyone to sit inside any of those lighthouses during a storm like this. Makes you feel alive, until you die from a wave-related crushing.

I never knew that the lighthouses endured so much abuse. It is interesting to watch-thanks! I don't think there are any US lighthouses in the same position, though. It is amazing to imagine someone living in one during those storms.

In fact, you're pretty safe in there. Ok, I must admit that old lighthouses aren't tight (is it the right word ?), but renovations and new materials keep you dry. By the way, with a stormy weather, it's not cautious to stay in the lamp chamber as you never know if a debris from the sea will crush it.

I'll try to find a video of someone inside a Britanny's Lighthouse during a storm, or make ones by myself one day

Um, well I'll take that dare... seeing how long they've been standing there, I think it'd be pretty safe to weather a storm in one.

These lighthouses are bigger and harder than yours, and they can handle a long & hard pounding.

seriously how the F #$ do those lighthouses withstand that pounding from the ocean. I want to see a doc on how those things are built.

When we were kids my brother and I used to call our penises our "lighthouses". True story.

If you look at them the majority of the force of the wave is taken by the rocks that they are standing on. what's left of the wave after it hits the rocks is mostly broken up water , add to that the shape of the light house and there is not much surface for the already broken up water to make contact with and apply force to , its simply easer1 for the water to go around it than it is for it to push against the structure.

MY biggest concern if I was in one of them lighthouses would be lack of internet connection and no way to order take out food.

I'm also sure the risk of a helicopter flying into your house and photographers snapping a shot of u fapping off to porn is allot higher.
