there should be a law created that makes it illegal for large media companies to lie or deceive the public. if people aer told it straight perhaps yeh there might be a little more chaos - but it would be for good reasons.

Freedom of the press has been interpreted to mean they can say anything, including lies. If they cannot tell lies, they don't have freedom.
