Lena Horne sings Stormy Weather

The incomparable and irreplaceable Lena Horne died yesterday, May 9 2010 at the age of 92. The first black woman to land a major Hollywood studio contract, she was later blacklisted during the McCarthy hearings but continued to tour and record, later finding her political voice during the civil rights movement and the March on Washington.
