The last thing we want to do is water down the teaching of biology because some people don't recognize that evolution happened.

100% correct....even more so when it's done by TEACHERS!
If you want to teach your kids religion, do it at home or send them to a religious school and teach them to be private about their 'beliefs'. If you do it in public or in public school, be ready to be called and treated like a moron...and that means if a science teacher teaches something religious, they need to be fired and removed that day because 1)it's illegal to teach any religion as fact in public school and 2)we don't need morons teaching our kids to be morons....do we?
