She has obvious talent, but she lets it go to waste writing and performing derivative pop songs.

That was actually pretty cool and I think she writes quite interesting pop songs. I think the sad thing about pop is that it all gets clumped together with all the other junk like Jonas Brothers, but Lady Gaga's tunes really stand out amongst the pop clutter.
