hazmat22says...You would think the noise from the prop and engine would be irritating, but maybe the curiosity and fun (or predator) factor of a chase outweigh that. Never thought about the bubbles before though.
Jinxsays...They do this quite a lot don't they? At least I remember reading an explanation to this behaviour that basically boiled down to "teenage male killer whale hijinks".
