Yeah I only know about Killer Mike because of El P and I love EL Ps latest I blast that in the car all the time. Killer Mike has been killing it lately though hes fucking awesome.

Yep, same here-- After I first heard Cannibal Ox I pretty much ate up any thing defjux and EL-P quickly became one of my favorite artists. He just so obviously spends so much time on his albums which leads to very substancial releases, unfortunately it comes with the draw back of waiting 4-5 years per release lol

Man, it's crazy that Fantastic Damage came out in 2002 and it's still mind blowing. The new one is pure awesome, a little more poppy and heavy hanging with the bass/synth but Fantastic Damage is like the Loveless of hip hop (outside of maybe Dalek).

Definitely, sucks that EL-P doesn't do Def Jux any more it definitely seemed like they shoulda had a shitload of money pouring in.

This guy is like the rapper cousin of Henry Rollins. Talented, creative and astonishingly well-informed.
