Just so much... wow... Hold on a second there Professor Farnsworth, I think I want to join you....
From YT: The president/CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis--U.S. and the Creation Museum, Ken Ham, responds to Bill Nye's recent YouTube video entitled, "Bill Nye: Creationism Is Not Appropriate For Children" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbYJfwFgOU)

Phreezdrydsays...

It's like living in bizzaro world knowing this guy isn't just ranting on a street corner, annoying tourists. He could probably run for public office in the U.S.

Long live Bill Nye The Science (based on evidence, not some ancient book of fairy tales) Guy!

"Just animals" as if being the bleeding edge of billions of years of evolution isn't special. Bundles of living energy that can self-reflect just isn't amazing at all. Quantum physics shows that evolution is built in to how nature works at as basic a level as we have yet discovered. If you think there are "problems" with evolution I would suggest you don't grasp the concept fully enough. Try harder. Think bigger.

"Paleontology ... a "historical science" ... now uses techniques drawn from a wide range of sciences, including... engineering." (Wikipedia)

Oops!

Some more research indicates that "historical science" is a term used by philosophers of science to denote fields that aim to discover what happened in the past by scientific means, rather than do controlled experiments. The terms has also been falsely appropriated by creationists to discredit "historical science" findings that conflict with the creation myth of Genesis. Shocking.
