I don't see the problem in having a spicy photo shoot on the Sift. It's not like there aren't already many sexy videos of girls on the Sift.

Why do some people seem to insist that smart girls can't also be appreciated for their sex appeal? The whole point of being a fan of Kari is that she has it all, brains, personality, cute face, hot body... And this photo shoot tried to incorporate more than just her appearance.
