Again, the basics are all that is needed to get your lazy asses off the food grid, and rid the skyline of colorful, diseased marquis. Envisioning a world where fast-food is as putrifiing in the minds of bi-peds as the idea of second-hand smoke, another crock of horseshit, perpetrated by special interest...bud-eye digress.
Pizza. That mysterious luxury that no-one seems to wanna make themselves, out of better ingredients, made by hands that you know have been washed after returning from the loo. This cat is holding his mouth right, and this, is a great basic primmer. The rest is easy....this guy's website shows up at the end of the viddy, so nuff said. RONALD MAC DONALD, IS A COLD-BLOODED KILLER.
... food fit for a trough, not a tummy.

LadyBugsays...great vid! but guess how much bacteria is under that ring he's wearing choggie!?!?!
anyway, it's a simple recipe but a lot of prep time! even easier would be to stop off at your favorite pizza joint and purchase some of their already made pizza dough! a relative of mine owns an italian restaurant and this is something they offer! easy-peasy!
(and yes, i can make a killer pizza!)
MINKsays...you can make shitloads and stick it in the freezer, can't you?
cheesemoosays...I just get refrigerated crusts from the grocery, then make them delicious with sauce and whatnot. Takes like 5 minutes to make, then 8 to bake.

spoco2says...It's all well and good to say it, but it is all down to prep time... and also cost.
I quite dislike Pizza Hut, Dominoes etc. BUT find a nice local (non chain) pizza place and for $5.90 you get yourself a damn nice pizza with no creation time on your part, and cheaper than the ingredients alone would cost you.
Yes we (me myself and my kids) make pizzas ourselves sometimes, but I'll be buggered if we a) have the time to always do so, and b) can afford the ingredients to always do so.
Really, rallying against any and all food stores is getting a little ridiculous choggie... are you sure you wouldn't prefer to be on a ranch, off the power grid, off the interweb, disconnected from all living things? It certainly sounds that way sometimes.
9058says...My first job when i turned 15 was at a fast food pizza place which will remain nameless. Needless to say I didnt eat pizza for like a year after though i couldnt resist it forever. Yeah you learn all the tricks and how to cut corners. Trust me, we dont take good care of you're food, if youve seen have the stuff my co-workers would (or wouldnt) do and more so how much the manager knew and didnt care then all fast food places would close instantly.
9835says...Upvote for the first sentence of the OP.
Baerasays..."..that's for all the ladies out there,.. and my wife." LOL
Nice find Choggie, I'm going to try this next week.
Ryjkyjsays...I used to work at an excellent pizza place that had combinations that blew my mind. But that being said. There is nothing like your own pizza from scratch, dough included. It takes some practice though.
I prefer making a sauce that is mostly peppers, with just a little bit of onions and tomato, with some rosemary and fresh garlic in the dough.
Once you try it a few times, you can get perfect, chewy, crispy....
uuhh.. bye
