budzossays...She's aged a bit. She reminds me of my sister in a good way. I find it unbelievable that anyone can even tolerate the concept of god, but hey I'm wacky like that.
quantumushroomsays...Julia Sweeney is a sincere and talented woman. But BMW-TED...well, any organization that gives Bill Clinton 100 grand for who-knows-what needs to rethink their elitist rap.
westysays...I hate people who talk like this when thay are incapable of good acting. her method of presentatoin is inapropreat for this sort of event. maby if she was good at acting ore carrying a story it wud be ok. i think 8yr olds would enjoy this more than adults. oh god as this continues i want to slap her

Oh, sweet irony.
Grimmsays...gluonium, this is actual part of her latest one-woman-show "Letting Go of God". "God Said Ha!" was a different one-woman-show that she was performing years before this one.
Westy, keep in mind she is used to performing this live on stage without a camera on her and a big screen projection behind her. When acting live one has to perform in a way that translates to thge people towards the back of the theater. *promote

JAPRsays...Upvote for "lol Mormons."
Thylansays...personally topical
spoco2says...Great stuff... and I feel that those who were religious and brought up strictly so and eventually come around to understanding how ridiculous it can be to blindly believe the dogma handed to them via old texts can be far more convincing to the current faithful than most.
I do always enjoy a simple "Gee, aren't these people's beliefs ridiculous..." followed by a "well, actually, if you look at the mainstream, they're kinda just as loopy"
