One of my criticisms of Jon Stewart over the years has been his lack of coverage about Israel. I think it's because of if you were jewish and you had a ton of jewish friends and family, it would be a problem coming out on the side of reason when so many are completely unreasonable about this subject.

Jon surprised me with this piece and the follow up. I'm hoping he got this new sense of bravery from his experience directing.

There are videos online that show exactly what happens. You just need to get out of the building and to another neighborhood or something. Where the "warning" lands, basically, that whole building is about to blow up.

The other point Jon made is where are you expected to run ?
Do I need to remind you that Israel shelled children playing on the beach and missile attacked a U.N. hospital and school.
The whole city is surrounded, under seige, being systematically destroyed, and no one is allowed to leave.

BTW. It is Israel who is currently being accused of TERRORISM,
since 80% of their Victims are INNOCENT CIVILIANS.

Quick thought on the warning bombing... Wouldn't that alert Hamas fighters that a bombing is imminent and they should leave the area also? In that case any bombings would be to take out assets which I have no idea if that's what they are really trying to accomplish. Seems more like creating fear and death.

I know this is a comedy show, but it makes me cringe when he's making his points through sarcasm with a smirk on his face and also the crowd laughing at his jokes.

A high body count adds to Hama's attempt to extort more money from the West and anyone else stupid enough to support them. When you hide your arms in a school, expect for children to die. But then, anyone who teaches their children to strap on suicide belts has very little regard for children in general. I'm sure the average Hama thug loves their own children, but they are more than willing to send someone else's kid to oblivion.
