After going unsold for months, the jet was put into the hands of Turbo North Aviation, an Anchorage aircraft broker, which put an asking price of $2.45 million on the nearly $2.7 million jet. It sold to Alaska businessman Larry Reynolds for $2.1 million ($31,290 of which went to Turbo Aviation).

Better sourcing for the myth of the eBay sale. Also it never "sold quickly".

McCain is such a liar!!!

Plane never sold on eBay (it did get one bid). It never was sold for a profit. (Depending on depreciation and front-end interest loading on the financing, the state probably lost half a million by selling the plane.
