Joe Strummer - Redemption Song

Joe Strummer, of The Clash, recorded this cover of Bob Marley's famous song shortly before his death (Dec. 22nd. 2002) and it was released posthumously. This music video and mural was filmed and painted on 7th Street, New York City in November 2003. Some of the people featured in the video are actor Steve Buscemi and director Jay Jarmusch. R.I.P. Joe.

I know its an odd thing, but I often think that lighting candles and going to a cemetery is mundane, and a waste of time.

Why? Because mourning is relative to the mourner, the other person is dead.

Now, making a memorial to send a message about the future or to those alive that is the opposite of mourning, that is making lemonade with the lemons given.
