Prediction- Post election there will be speculation that Romney was a liberal plant designed to sabotage the Republican party. This guy isn't just a flip/flopper, he's just a giant flop.

Really... if you like Obama or can't stand him... You had to think this election was going to be very difficult with the various issues facing the country... and it just seems like every time Romney opens his mouth it's another half a percent for Obama.

It really is. You keep hearing that the Republicans have moved so far away from the centre that they're unelectable, and it really seems to be true. The American mainstream just doesn't want to go keep drifting that far right, and unless they do something the Republicans are just not coming back. >> ^VoodooV:

it's 2008 all over again. McCain couldn't get people excited so they brought Palin in to stir up the rhetoric (and the mouth-breathing base)
Reps didn't learn a damned thing.

Yep...also they keep wanting to elect idiots. Remember the freak show we had to get to Romney, and now Romney is the freak show. It's just a joke.

As bad as this is for republicans, what is worse is that their voting block continues to shrink. If they lose this one, four years from now the number of people willing to vote for them will be even less, unless they do a complete 180 and start supporting younger people, women, African Americans, gays and especially Latinos. Trying to prevent these people from voting isn't going to work (as shown by all the state courts who have shut such efforts down, or are in the process of doing so). And the amount of money they can throw around won't matter if they cant get more than 1/3 of the country to vote for them. As the years roll on even their solid red states will begin to switch. We've already started seeing this with states like Virginia, Illinois and others who were very red until the last election.

Actually, after listening to it a couple times, It sounds like the crowd is meshing Ryan/Romney then Romney/Ryan, half is saying one thing the first chant, while the others are cheering the other name.

Sad to say that I think he was actually just trying to get them all cheering the same thing at the same time.. as awkward as that looked.

I think it's awesome that in an American election where these are the 2 candidates, poles still show Romney as bringing in 43% of the voting population.
I don't think there's any doubt by now about who's going to win, but the fact that practically anyone with half a brain (i.e. not Romney) would've actually stood a chance at winning sorta makes you wonder what would become of American society once such an individual steps up.

Oh and by awesome I mean pathetic.
