Blinding someone flying a chopper is reckless, and borderline assault.

10 cops responded and surrounded that horrible violent terrorist.

Man those on board cameras are stable. And that infrared camera is pretty badass.

Wow. Didn't know that could be that much of a problem for them. Wonder if we'll see any runners on cops whip out a laser light while being chased now...

actually it's a felony: http://www.hf.faa.gov/docs/508/docs/cami/0107.pdf

(assault is usually a misdemeanor, although against an officer it's also a felony)

When I first watched this video I was like, pfff what's the big deal? I had no idea lasers could be that dangerous in dispersing the amount of light they do over such a long distance.
