Iraq: One Winter Soldier's Tale

(From Source) In the spring of 2007, a conference was held on the outskirts of Washington, DC. Entitled Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan, it hearkened back to the Winter Soldier testimonies held three decades ago during the Vietnam War. Of the testimonies we filmed, this one, by Iraq War vet Jon Michael Turner, was the most compelling and intense.

this is why i find it hard to "support the troops during a time of war"... sympathy yes, support... erm no, that seems like the wrong word to use.

especially if the war is illegal in the first place.

of course we can blame the leaders... but they were elected. by the people who "support" the troops.

and let's not forget the mercenaries are there too, with even less checks and balances.

So, basically, this undisciplined piece of shit was pretty much asking to be arrested for war crimes.

He and his squadmates killed people just for the fun of it? That's fucking disgusting, and it probably happens more than you'd like to think about.
